This is a Finding Words story!
My husband Paul was working the day before it happened. He is an economist and teached at the university in Montreal. He is suffering global aphasia and apraxie.following a AV C in 2015 He cannot talk, read or write or count, h motricity is good.
It is the mots terrible thing that coud happened to us, we are married nearly 50 years., and still in love. But we can’t communicate anymore. Nothing could have been worst in our Life. I am his caregiver and his wife who loves him more .
Hang in there. My husband also has aphasia and apraxia. It’s very frustrating for the family and him. As a caregiver we have to be the encourager and the enforcer…not always a fun job!
Prayers for peace and strength for both of you!
